Tips for a successful Intern Game weekend!

- Do the pre-puzzles. Often you will learn skills and about frequently-used puzzle solving techniques you didnt know before (ex. boat flags).

- Make a team with people you know you will get along with. You will be spending 36 hours straight with these people so it is important that you are on the same page and have similar goals for the weekend.

​

- Start the application early! We started as early as possible to fit in as many pictures as we could to better boost our exam. 

​

- Make a fun application video. This is the part of the application where you really get to be creative and show the Intern Game Staff how much you want to play the Game.

 

- Bring a bunch of healthy snacks for the weekend! Unhealthy snacks get old really fast. 

​

- Bring water and drinks! As you can see looking through this blog, a lot of the puzzle locations were not in places with easy access to water or other drinks.

​

- Sleep every chance you get throughout the weekend (in the car) and sleep in shifts at the overnight location so that other team members can still work on puzzles!

​

- Remember to have FUN!!!!!!!
