Olympia Press Building

At the Olympia Press Building were 3 different puzzles, all based on magic tricks. These puzzles were 842 Club, Three of Hearts, and Watch Closely. Our team split up the puzzles and I worked on Watch Closely.

For this puzzle, we watched a magician do 4 magic tricks. From these magic tricks, there were 4 specific cards called (we watched the tricks twice and the cards were the same both times). On the back of the cards said "Caesars Casino" which was a nod at Caesar Cipher. Using the cards called in each trick, we set a cipher for each card type. By doing this, we got the code word "CLUB".

When finished with all three puzzles at the Olympia Press Building, we were sent to Tacoma's Landmark Theatre.
