The whole ride to the Outback Kangaroo Farm, we were all trying not to get our hopes up, because who knew there could be Kangaroos in Washington state? As soon as we got there, we were not disappointed. There were lamas, chickens roaming the premises, a peacock with her 3 little babies, and KANGAROOS. This location was definitely a highlight because it was just so cool.
After we were given a tour, and allowed to pet and feed the kangaroos, we were given our bag of beads- the puzzle. This puzzle was really fun, we arranged about 30+ bead strings that we were given in groups of 5 and they lined up to form boat flags. One really cool part about the intern game is how the game makers include such a wide range of puzzle types in each puzzle, so it’s not repetitive. Once we solved the boat flags, it spelled out something- so we typed it into the intern game website, but that was only a partial answer. We were given instruction, “That loose strand sure doesn’t need any” and proceeded to test the strength of each beat string, finally finding a loose one. This had a Morse message on it, which we deciphered and it ended up being the answer.
